It was Babe Ruth's historic first World Series, and the Bambino's sole at-bat came in a Game 1 defeat against Grover Cleveland Alexander. Boston then ran the table in four straight contests, the third of which was Game 4 at Braves Field—a 2-1 victory hurled by Ernie Shore. Scored in pencil (with adjacent adhered news clippings), this 7 x 10-3/8" program features Presidents Lannin and Baker, along with Managers Carrigan and Moran, on the cover. Inside, there are great team photos and a classic Draper & Maynard ad. The program displays frontally as VG-EX/EX, but with heavy mounting wear on the back cover.
