Interestingly, this Cubs scorecard was repurposed for a 1907 Park Owners' Association (POA) game between two local Chicago teams—the Gunthers vs. Cap Anson's Colts. It's partially scored, with a charming handwritten note on the front: "July 17/07 Skillen of Dartmouth pitched for Ansons. Good game. Met Cap't. Anson after cup presentation." Anson had returned to baseball after losing his position as Chicago's City Clerk due to a payroll scandal. Measures 6x9 and rates GD/VG.
