Description

Music lovers howl all night long for this trio of Three Dog Night framed displays. One of the premier acts of their day, this mega-popular group charted numerous hits to the delight of fans the world over. Offered are (3) items in better to excellent condition, with:

11x14 “Three Dog Night with Hoyt Axton & Murray Roman” concert poster handsomely framed and matted to overall dimensions of 21-1/2 x 17-1/2”, this black and white art style promoter is credited to “W.P. Yenne 69” for a 10/18 event at Adams Fieldhouse (University of Montana) with opening acts Hoyt Axton, who penned several hit songs for the band, including their all-time best seller “Joy to the World” and irreverent comedian Murray Roman, who did his best work writing for the Smothers Brothers TV show, all elements of this piece present like-new with captivating appeal, H&S research determined this poster to be a unique example, with no others discovered

11x14 “Three Dog Night and Chicago” concert poster framed to exact measurements from 6/19/71 show at the Honolulu International Center Arena, poster shows light to moderate wear in the form of modest rippling and a bit of fading at the bottom corners only, otherwise bright, clean and glossy with approximate EX-MT detail, frame is decent with a few small and unobtrusive chips, given the ancient age and remote location, this poster positions as fairly scarce

10x15 City of Los Angeles proclamation framed and double-matted to 14x19 in a metallic frame, signed by Mayor Sam Yonty, this original document with LA City Seal affixed at bottom left, proclaims the date “7/14/72” to be “Three Dog Night Day”, presumably a one of a kind item, this proclamation remains in excellent condition with bold text, stately graphics and a clean surface, the frame also reports in excellent condition

Also present is an unrelated 1991 American Music Awards ephemera grouping framed to 9-1/2 x 12-1/2” with a laminated “Backstage” access pass, a full ticket to the event and production schedule press notes page, all items present better to excellent
