Keyboard/piano player Jimmy Greenspoon embarked on his musical journey at the age of seven in 1955. The longtime member of the Three Dog Night continued touring until 2014 when he was diagnosed with the cancer that caused his death in 2015. Along the way he played and recorded with an unbelievable roster of music giants, including Linda Ronstadt, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, America, The Beach Boys, Beck, Nils Lofgren, Lowell George, Donovan, Buddy Miles, Stephen Stills, Jeff Beck, Leon Russell, Cheech & Chong, Redbone and others.
His stage performances are recalled with this selection of concert worn garments dating from the 1970s, when TDN was riding high on a wave of 21 “Billboard” hits. All of these well maintained articles present handsomely, free of rips, tears, or holes and remain serviceable. Constructed in high quality materials with designer labels, these vintage garments would command significant prices at a clothing resale shop, regardless of who wore them. But the fact that Greenspoon wore them during some memorable performances with one of the top bands of the ‘70s, makes this ensemble collectible treasure for Rock music fans.
