Description

Coin connoisseurs go for the gold with sparkling 19th Century coin. Offered is an 1882-S $10 Liberty Head coin, graded MS61 by respected certification service NGC. This handsome Gold Eagle flies high with well-struck details and pleasing luster, consistent with the assigned grade. Minted in San Francisco, this fairly tough date was produced in a relatively low number of just 132,000 pieces. It is estimated today that less than 1,000 exist in all grades, with less the 700 in mint state, putting this attractive survivor in the scarce realm. Comes with a deluxe wood presentation case with engraved brass title plate.
