In 1950-1951 Topps delivered one of the most comprehensive war card sets in the Non-Sport genre. Titled “Freedom’s War” this hard-hitting military series presented a timely overview of the Korean War, with subsets Battleground, Training, Arsenal, Insignia, Medals, War Heroes and the high value Tanks die-cuts. Make a strategic conquest by capturing this 1950-1951 Topps Freedom’s War complete set of (203).


This exciting set is fairly well-matched with a grade breakdown of (10% EX to EX-MT, 80% VG to VG-EX, 10% FR to GD). All cards are tan-back with bold reverse text and bright obverses with white to off-white borders and nice gloss. Generally centering runs decent to excellent, though a small number are miss-cut. Key cards are: #1 Surprise Attack (FR) due to a small bit of obverse surface loss, #57 General Douglas MacArthur (VG-EX+), #183 General George Patton (VG-EX), #201 General Dwight D. Eisenhower (VG-EX) and (7) Tank cards: #97 (VG-EX), #98 (VG), #99 (VG), #100 (GD+), #101 (VG), #102 (GD+), #103 (GD).
