Circa 1870 Washington & Jefferson University baseball team carte de vista. This sepia team photo of an industrial league team measures 3-7/8 x 2-7/16" and is pictured in timeless clarity. The squad was photographed by J.H. Rogers of Washington, Pennsylvania (located 28 miles southwest of Pittsburgh) and bears the first initial of the city on their uniforms. With exception to a hint of reverse paper loss, this relic otherwise presents higher grade. A very nice and early baseball card complete with early equipment and uniforms.
