Born two years apart in Beaumont, Texas, Johnny and Edgar Winter shared albinism and incredible musical talents. This document is endorsed by both musicians. Typewritten on an 8-1/2 x 11” sheet, the item is composed by Rick Dobbis, the former Vice President of Blue Sky Records, a specialty label promoted and distributed by Columbia Records. Dated “April 21, 1975” and addressed to a CBS Records executive, the letter details a settlement and an audit in favor of Dobbis’ clients and reads (in part):

This will direct you to make such payments in the following manner: for Edgar Winter $170,000; for Johnny Winter $90,000.

On the appropriate lines, Johnny Winter and Edgar Winter have respectively signed in blue ballpoint (both “9” strength). The thin sheet has compacting folds, areas of minor separation and instances of edge wear. None of these flaws, however, affect the bold rock-n-rollers’ bold signatures! Comes with a cert/sticker from JSA.
