Less than a year after its debut, Sports Illustrated showed its versatility as evidenced by the scenic April 4, 1955 cover on which Ben Hogan is shown launching the ball down the fairway as spectators look on at the Augusta National Course. Encapsulated and Graded Near Mint 9.4 by CGC, this specimen is one of three at its tier with none graded higher. One of a scant few survivors, this issue ranks #37 on the "Hardest to Find" list.
