Rebounding from a dismal last-place finish in 1966, the Chicago Cubs improved by a whopping 28 games in the win column in 1967 as they paced the Senior Circuit with 702 runs. This baseball is autographed by (26) members of that resurgent squad. The clean white ONL Giles sphere (grade “9-10”) showcases blue ink scriptings that average (“7”) strength. Includes: Sweet Spot: Durocher (manager); North Panel: Kessinger, Jenkins, Boccabella, J. Niekro, Hundley and Nye; South Panel: Simmons, Gardner, Gigon, Amalfitano (coach), Banks, Koonce and Spangler; West Panel: Radatz, Popovich, James, Phillips, Hands and Santo; East Panel: Thomas, Beckert, Hartenstein, Savage, Culp and Williams. Auction LOA from JSA.
