Yes, incredible but true, the entire Phillies outfield batted over .400 in 1894. That would be Hall of Famers Ed Delehanty (.405), Sam Thompson (.415) and Billy Hamilton (.403). What's more, Sliding Billy stole 100 bases that season—including 7 in a single game! Based on the pencil scoring here, this appears to be the second game of a doubleheader on September 11, 1894, won by the Pirates at home 9-8. Measures 6 x 9-1/2" and technically rates GD condition but displays nicer.
