Two weeks before Woodstock, Larry Magid's Electric Factory Concerts staged the oft-overshadowed Atlantic City Pop Festival, featuring many of the same names from Yasgur's farm—Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker, CSN, CCR, Jefferson Airplane, Johnny Winter, Canned Heat and the Butterfield Blues Band. A few years later, Magid promoted this Paul Butterfield show with Steeleye Span. Interestingly, the 14x22 index-stock poster has a handwritten sign for another concert, the Temple Music Fair, on back. VG condition.
