Description

Simultaneously chasing opposing pitchers from the mound and each other in pursuit of the single-season home run mark, Mickey Mantle and Rogers Maris are the fence-clearing subjects and endorsers of these framed displays. Includes:

Mickey Mantle: framed to 20-3/8 x 17-3/8”, a 14x11” black-and-white photo portrays Mantle awaiting his turn while kneeling in an on-deck circle with the Yankees’ familiar “top hat” logo. Against the stark white background of the surface, Mantle’s blue Sharpie autograph projects “perfect 10” strength.

Roger Maris: framed to 12-3/8 x 19-3/8”, Maris’ blue ballpoint cut signature registers (“9-10”) quality and is accompanied by his “Best of Luck” salutation. Accenting the display is a February 1962 Sport Magazine front cover with a smiling Maris.

Individual full photo LOAs from JSA.
