Take to the bidding battlefield for this high quality vintage non-sport card collection. Offered is a 1941 Gum Inc Uncle Sam complete low number set of (120) with an R157 Uncle Sam complete set of (96) and an R158 Home Defense complete set of (24). These classic military cards were issued during the year leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor and depict the preparedness of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines.

Whether these timely releases were issued as a coincidence or intentionally with the belief America would soon have to enter WWII, these late hour pre-war cards went on to earn a permanent place in the hearts of collectors, with a rich historical tradition. Nicely matched in appearance front to back with solid examples, this astounding collection ranges (EX to NM-MT) with an average of EX-MT to NM. Showing a keen eye for selection quality, the set assembler has amassed bright, clean cards with vivid colors, bold text and off-white to white borders.
