To our advanced non-sport card collectors, if you thought assembling the R60 G-Men & Heroes of the Law set was tough, wait till you get a load of this offering. Presented is a rare French language version complete set (72) pasted in an even rarer corresponding album. In opposition to the challenging skip-numbered U.S. version, this French set is numbered in consecutive fashion from 1 to 72. Showing average EX detail, these cards are adhered three to a page in a French language album titled "Album Serie G-Men & Heros de la Loi Vol. 1, Nos. 1 a 72".
All cards are dated 1936 with Gum Inc. copyright and all are printed with "G-Men" in red and "Heros de la Loi" in yellow, while ampersands vary between red and yellow. The pages are formatted with spaces for the cards and are printed above or below with text that is believed to replicate that found on the card reverses. The brilliant album cover is covered in easily removable clear plastic and though detached, it is very pleasing with vivid colors. The cards are bright and attractive and the pages are generally clean and supple, though minor traces of excess adhesive around the cards is evident throughout.
