Description

Play it smart, the breaks will come your way. Such was the philosophy of Earl Weaver’s Baltimore Orioles, who instilled fundamentally sound baseball and promptly supplanted the mighty Yankees as the American League’s winningest franchise in both the 1960s and 1970s. These (3) baseballs are autographed by pennant-winning installments from that well-oiled machine. Includes:

1969 American League Champion Baltimore Orioles: a gorgeous clean and creamy OAL Cronin sphere (grade “9”) with (26) black ballpoint signatures (average “8” strength). Includes: Sweet Spot: Weaver (manager) and Hunter (coach); North Panel: Bamberger (coach), Etchebarren, Rettenmund, May, Staller (coach) and Watt; South Panel: Severinsen, Hall, B. Robinson, Hendricks, Richert and Phoebus; West Panel: Lau (coach), Leonhard, Johnson, Floyd, Motton and Lopez; East Panel: Hardin, Blair, F. Robinson, Belanger, Powell and Buford. Full photo LOA from JSA.
