Though they’re not blood relatives, Brooks and Frank Robinson headed an Oriole family that posted baseball’s best record through the 1960s and 1970s. These (2) items are signed by the Hall of Famers. Includes: Brooks Robinson: a 35” Hillerich & Bradsby 1960s bat signed on the barrel in black marker (“8” strength) and inscribed “HOF 83” (JSA cert); Frank Robinson: a 1975-1988-style cap worn by Robinson during an Old Timers game in 1989 or 1990. Robinson has signed in black marker (“8-9” strength; full photo LOA from Dave Miedema).

The Frank Robinson signed game-worn cap is a professional model black knit accessory with a white front, an orange bill and a cartoon Bird logo embroidered to the front. An orange button resides atop the six-point crown suspension and Robinson’s retired number “20” is inscribed on the bill’s underside. The interior sweatband is home to  “New Era” label and a size “7-1/8” tag. Single event wear is evident with a crack at the center of the bill and minor perspiration-induced discoloration along the interior sweatband. Thee is no third party authentication for the autograph, however it is presumed authentic.

The Brooks Robinson bat has the weight, dimensions and identifiers of an early-1960s professional model, though the “BR5” stamping on the knob suggests retail status.
