Black Swamp Find! Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Legend holds that the offered 1910 E98 Anonymous Eddie Collins with a red background was one of nearly 700 cards from the designation discovered by a Defiance, Ohio family in 2012. Resting untouched for over a century, these pristine specimens were discovered in an attic box. Each card stack was tightly secured by antique twine and had entirely escaped the harsh Midwestern elements. Considerable national media attention was attached to the story as various outlets reported the details of the remarkable find. This "Cocky" example showcases razor-sharp corners, creamy white edges and lush colors with bold text. The checklist reverse detailing the lineup is clean.
