All alone atop the list of games played (2,528) without a single postseason appearance, Ernie Banks still cemented his “Mr. Cub” status with 512 home runs, two MVP honors and a love for the game, win or lose. These (10) items are autographed by the Wrigley hero who died one year shy of his team’s long-awaited championship. Bold signatures average (“9”) strength and include:

 

Signed Retired Number Banner: a 56x36” white nylon banner with a blue pinstripe pattern and “14” in blue numerals. Banks has signed on the “4” in silver marker and inscribed “HOF 77”

 

Signed 1999 Wrigley Field Scorecard: issued for a Cubs vs. Brewers game; signed on the front cover in black marker

 

Signed Photo: a 9-3/4 x 7-7/8 black-and-white photo of Banks and Willie Mays at Wrigley Field signed (by Banks only) in blue marker
