Description

Among the Senior Circuit’s best with three pennants and two World Series titles during the 1960s, the freshly transplanted Los Angeles Dodgers are the endorsers of these (2) baseballs. Includes:

 

1966 National League Champion Los Angeles Dodgers Team-Signed Ball: a creamy ONL Giles ball (grade “6”) signed in ballpoint by (20). Signatures range between (“8”) and (“3”) in terms of strength and clarity. Includes: Sweet Spot: Alston (manager “7-8” strength); North Panel: Sutton (“7” strength), Oliver, Barbieri, Koufax (“5” strength) and Gilliam; South Panel: Ozark (coach), Osteen, Kennedy, Wills, unidentified and Parker; West Panel: Fairly, Regan, Torborg, Covington and Johnson; East Panel: Brewer, Gomez (coach) and W. Davis

 

1967 Los Angeles Dodgers Team-Signed Ball: a creamy ONL Giles ball (grade “6”) signed in ballpoint by (23). Signatures average (“5-6”) strength and include: Sweet Spot: Alston (manager (“4” strength); North Panel: Schofield, Campanis, Singer, Johnson, Roseboro and Miller; South Panel: Egan, Ozark (coach), unidentified, Ferrara, Regan and Michael; West Panel: Oliver, Crawford, Parker and Bailey; East Panel: Fairly, Brewer, Lefebvre, Osteen, Alcaraz and Drysdale ("5" strength)

 

Also included are (5) original 3-1/2 x 3-1/2” personal photos taken at the 1966 World Series in Baltimore. Memorial Stadium shots include: Don Sutton; the façade with the World War II dedication; and a shot of the players lining up for the National Anthem. Additionally, there is a photo of Phil Regan boarding the Dodgers team bus; and a shot of Drysdale and Koufax in suit coats and neckties.
