Journey to the inner reaches of space with these vintage astronaut cards featuring the "Mercury 7". These brave space pioneers were the first group to pilot manned craft for the NASA program. Follow their early space expeditions with this lot of (2) 1963 Exhibit card sets. Both sets consist of (32) cards in average (EX-MT to NM-MT) condition with generally sharp corners, nice gloss and fascinating photos. Pictured are Mercury astronauts Glenn, Schirra, Carpenter, Cooper, Shepard, Grissom and Slayton, along with various rockets, capsules and other craft. Slayton is seen only in a group photo, the other six astronauts have individual portrait cards.
