The offered 1910 E229 National Licorice "Champion Athlete Series" complete set of (25) cards has "leaps and bounds" of potential. These amateur track enthusiasts and swimmers have an overall approximate condition breakdown of 25% (VG-EX or better), 50% (VG) and 25% (GD or lesser). Of note, card #25 features "Champion Pole Vaulter" A.C. Gilbert (GD), an athlete, toymaker and businessman who in later years invented the Erector Set.
