Description

"Lucky Lindy" joins forces with some of the biggest names in 1930s entertainment with this lot of (3) vintage non-sport sets. During the "Great Depression" era, the Amos & Andy show was a radio staple, attracting nightly audiences throughout the 1930s. About the same time pioneering aviator Charles Lindbergh was making unwanted headlines during the trial for the "Crime of the Century" kidnapping and death of his first son, young curley haired star Shirley Temple was beginning her run as the top box office draw from 1935-1938. These mega-famous celebrities are the subjects of the (3) 1930s set offered here, with:

Charles Lindbergh Exhibit card set of (16) ranging as (50% VG-EX to EX-MT, 50% GD to VG), this set highlights Lindbergh's early flying career and includes photos of his celebrated plane "The Spirit of St. Louis"

Amos & Andy Exhibit card set of (16) average (EX to EX-MT) with photos of actors Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll in blackface makeup, in scenes from their 1930 film "Check and Double Check"

Shirley Temple Wheaties set of (12) neatly trimmed cereal box premiums showing average EX to EX-MT details
