From the man who brought you integrated baseball comes this prime signature cut. Brilliant executive Branch Rickey (d.1965) is best remebered for signing Jackie Robinson to play with the Brooklyn Dodgers, breaking the long standing MLB color segregation barrier. For this and many other actions, this great innovator was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1967. Make a good choice by adding this handsome Rickey signature cut to your collection. This 3-3/4 x 1-3/4" check segment is graced with a prominent ("8-9") autograph, that is unaffected by a light tape stain directly above. Accompanying this prize collectible is a second check segment measuring 3 x 1-1/4" and printed with "Branch Rickey" in bold lettering, which will go nicely in a framed ensemble. Auction LOA from JSA.
