From 1904-1924 the New York Giants captured ten NL pennants, but came up with the short end of the stick in the World Series more often than not, losing seven times during this period. The end of this run saw the mighty Giants fall to the fearsome....the colossal....wait, it was just the Washington Senators. Typically bringing up the rear in the AL, the Nats enjoyed their shining moment in the '24 Series, winning the only championship of their sixty year tenure in DC.
