Show some love for Brian Piccolo and the Chicago Bears of the late 1960s and early 1970s with this vintage album autograph collection. Featured are: an album with (63) autographs, (5) loose pages with another (37) autographs and (7) orignal 4x4 photos of players signing the album, including a great shot of a youthful Dick Butkus. The prime signature in this group is that of Brian Piccolo of television movie fame, who died in 1969 at the age of 26. Other key signers are: Chicago Bears: Dick Butkus X2, Gale Sayers, Sid Luckman, Doug Atkins, Mike Ditka, Bobby Douglass, Richie Petitbon, Bob Jeter, Dick Gordon, Rudy Bukich X2; Chicago Blackhawks: Keith Magnuson, Cliff Koroll; LA Rams: Merlin Olsen, Jack Snow.


The (100) autographs average ("8-9") quality, however (4) are affected by a darkened tape repair on one of the loose pages, with Mike Ditka, Gale Sayers, Rudy Bukich and one undetermined. The album is clean and solid, however the front cover has detached but is present and the five loose pages are crisp with moderate edge wear, other than the page noted with the tape repair. The (7) photographs average (NM) condition with clean, glossy surfaces, featured are: (2) 1969: Dick Butkus, Virgil Carter; (5) 1971: Bobby Douglass, Randy Jackson, George Farmer and (2) undetermined wearing uniform numbers 57 and 58.
