Long-suffering Cubs fans are sure to appreciate these (2) 1930s publications. From a decade that saw the Cubs with three National League pennants and (of course) zero World Series titles, these souvenirs include:

1934 Yearbook: issued independently by New York’s Murray Book Corporation, the 32-page guide features biographical content, statistics and black-and-white photos of players in sport coats and neck ties. With covers/pages completely intact, the guide presents beautifully.

1939 Scorecard: issued at Wrigley Field on September 17, the thick stock item features scoring grids with pre-printed lineups. These have been partially marked in graphite pencil to document a 10-4 loss to the Brooklyn Dodgers in the opener of a twinbill. The piece presents nicely with a hint of a vertical compacting fold. There is minor paper loss on the reverse.
