It's almost surprising that anyone would have been requesting Koufax's autograph in just his second major-league season, at a time in late summer when he had a middling 2-3 record. But that's the beauty of being a baseball fan. And from the looks of the address, this was a young member of the Flatbush faithful. Postmarked 8/16/56, the GPC measures 3-1/4 x 5-1/2" and features Koufax's beautiful blue-ink "9-10" signature. VG with mailing wear. Full LOA from JSA.
