Colorful teams were the theme of Gil Hodges (d.1972) career. A favorite of fans and teammates, Hodges starred for "Dem Bums" and "The Boys of Summer" in the 1950s and then moved on to managing with the "still last in American League" Senators and the triumphant "Amazin' Mets" in the 1960s. Those betting he will make it into the Hall of Fame someday, will do well to score this very reasonable Hodges signed album page. Hodges autograph looks pretty in pink on this clean page, scoring an ("8-9") for potency level. Dating to the late 1940s, this page is also signed by Eddie Miksis ("5") on the same side with Hodges and on the opposite side by Hank Behrman ("8"), Dick Sisler ("5") and Schoolboy Rowe ("7"). Auction LOA from JSA.
