It's a miracle that this delicate, elaborately constructed relic has survived at all, let alone in such an impressive state of preservation. The interior paper pages of 20 player photos (each 2-1/2 x 4-1/4") have been safely protected in EX-MT condition and feature Bender, Livingstone, Coombs, Thomas, Plank, Lapp, Davis, Collins, Barry, Baker, McInnis, Atkins, Dygert, Krause, Houser, Murphy, Morgan, Lord, Oldring and Hartsel. An oval portrait of Connie Mack and an action scene of "Livingston Cutting Off a Run" occupy the 5-1/4 x 6-1/2" exterior, which itself is about VG due to general surface wear and a spine split. To our knowledge, this is the first of these Kallis & Dane accordion postcards to surface at a major auction house since 2010.
